In many occasions the simplest installation may be more than sufficient. Therefore it is so important to have somebody with enough experience to help you to come to the right decision. Our compromise and obligation consist of the correct information and explaining the different alternatives to understand what you really need, avoiding falling into a gap of questions..

 

The way to come to the right alternative between complete different solutions, which itself may look interesting, but are very complex. Each supplier tries to show, that their solution is what is needed, but as there is no basic written concept, each supplier interprets what he understands and adapts it to his standards.

 

Therefore it is essential to have clear defined specifications which will give the opportunity to compare the different offers coming to a price quality check.

2. REDESIGN OF INSTALLATIONS

In some cases an existing installation needs betterments or adapting to new material flows. Based on the existing plant we make the analysis to create the optimal betterments to full fill with the new requirements. From the beginning of the new design we will look to reduce the influence of the activities to a minimum.

3. SCA (SYSTEM OF AUTOMATIC LORRY LOADING AND UNLOADING)

AUTOMATIC LORRY LOADING OR UNLOADING IN LESS THAN 4 MINUTES

The loading and unloading of lorries is a question of time, which means cost. ALSTEC, developed a simple system to load or unload lorries. Several installations in Spain are prepared with this system. As I developed the patent, ALSTEC has given me all rights on the patent.

 

The system does not need any rollers or chains on board of the lorry, only for guidance. The equipment achieves maximum palets on board, accepted by law.

 

The system makes an accumulation of the quantity of palets to introduce in the lorry and the complete Group of palets is passed to the lorry in one step.

    Minimum modification of the truck

    Possibility to combine unloading and loading without moving the lorry (time of unloading and loading a lorry with 32 palets in less than 20 minutes)

    In one case the cost of the installation was amortized in less than 9 month, others declare a cost reduction of more than 10%.

Domecq in Jerez de la Frontera: Automatic lorry loading system and the conveyor systems from the palletizing area de the loading system and Automatic lorry unloading system.

FRIOYA, S.A. in Vigo: Automatic warehouse at -40ºC for 13.700 palets with metallic slave palets (designed by myself) by reason of the temperature, no supplier of wooden palets was willing to guarantee. Picking area and all the Conveyor circuits and a special machine to bring away the wooden palet from the metallic.

S.A.Damm in Barcelona: 3 Automatic lorry loading and unloading stations including the conveyor Systems.

Filipinas Air Lines in Filipinas: Automatic warehouse for spare parts and the conveyor systems.

Mariscos Rodríguez / Dimarosa in Huelva: 1 automatic warehouse at –24ºC with 3 aisles for palets (1 double deep) and 2 aisles for card boxes using Miniload. Including conveyor systems for the palets and card boxes, classification area of 1.400 boxes per hour. Definition of the racks, fire protection, isolation panels and the equipment’s for freezing the installation.

Ventapesca in Cádiz: 1 automatic warehouse with 2 aisles at –24ºC and 1 manual warehouse working between +5ºC and –28ºC, all conveyor systems for palets and boxes, including a classification area for 1.000 boxes per hour. Definition of the warehouse management program and the racks.

Miguel Torres in Pacs del Penedès, technical economic study to use an automatic warehouse or forklifts. The warehouse is for 20.000 palets. The study included the investment and the cost of the working on short, middle and long term, coming to the conclusion of the efficiency of an automatic warehouse.

Miguel Torres in Pacs del Penedès, detailed design of the automatic warehouse, conveyor systems, racks and fire protection. The installation works also wit half palets.

Mariscos Rodríguez / Dimarosa in Huelva: Definition of the contracts, negotiation with the suppliers and supervision of the erection.

José Martí Peix in Huelva: 1 automatic warehouse at –24ºC with 3 aisles for palets (1 double deep) and 2 aisles for card boxes using Miniload. Including conveyor systems for the palets and card boxes, classification area of 1.000 boxes per hour. Definition of the racks, fire protection, isolation panels and the equipment’s for freezing the installation.

Solaria in Puertollano, technical economic study to use an automatic warehouse or forklifts. The study included the investment and the cost of the working on short, middle and long term, coming to the conclusion that an automatic warehouse will not be rentable.

EUROPASTRY in Vallmoll, Tarragona: Analysis of an existing automatic warehouse at -24ºC, to make betterments on the conveyor system. The maximum input and output is 160 palets per hour and needed are 210 palets / hour. The output was able to change with small modifications but the input is not possible to reach what needed. It is for a warehouse with 19.000 palets in 8 aisles.

EUROPASTRY in Vallmoll, Tarragona: Complete redesign of the entrance area, as the existing system is not possible to change to the needed movements. Detailed design and descriptions for the supplier of the equipment’s and the planing, as it is only possible to work from Saturday 14ºº to Monday 6ºº.

EUROPASTRY in Vallmoll, Tarragona: Redesign of a conveyor circuit for a robot which picks levels of card boxes (at -24ºC) of a palet with 1 reference to a multi referenz palet (>750 references) and the design of the conveyor system on this level +14,6 m to guaranty the in and output of the palets from the warehouse.

Mariscos Rodríguez / Dimarosa in Huelva: Definition of the necessaries elements to make a seafood cooking line working, as there are steam (+104ºC), quick freezer lines and so on.

ALSTEF: Evaluation of an existing company to analyse if it is rentable to buy them or not. Including a view over the design and factory and the employees.

EUROPASTRY in Azuqueca de Henares: Technical assistance for the definition of a manual warehouse with shuttle (at -24ºC) and the necessary connection to existing conveyor equipment.

UNO in Istanbul, Turkey. 1 automatic warehouse at –24ºC with 3 aisles for palets (1 double deep and 2 asymmetric one side double deep and the other side simple deep) for a total of 4.900 palets. Including conveyor systems for the palets. Design of a manual picking area (pick to voice) for 800 references. Definition of the racks and fire protection.

EUROPASTRY in Rubí, Barcelona: Redesign of the picking area -24ºC to guarantee the throughput of 2.400 boxes/hour with > 800 references. The project includes also the automatic palet conveyor system to bring the palets to this area to refill the box storage, functional description and specification for contracting.

MONTBLANC in Rubí, Barcelona: Design of a picking installation at -24ºC. The installation has an output of 2.400 boxes per hour with a total of 1.800 references. The installation consists in a rack warehouse of 5 aisles with shuttle and is designed for a maximum of 42.000 boxes. The palletizing is ergonomically designed and against the traditional picking the quantity of employees is reduced from 27 to 7. The design includes as well the unpalletizing area with a robot for replenishment.

MONTBLANC in Vallecas, Madrid: Design of a picking installation at -24ºC. The installation has an output of 2.000 boxes per hour with a total of 1.500 references. The installation consists in a rack warehouse of 5 aisles with shuttle and is designed for a maximum of 33.600 boxes. The palletizing is ergonomically designed and against the traditional picking the quantity of employees is reduced from 24 to 6. The design includes as well the ergonomic un palletizing area for replenishment. Also includes the study and design a manual warehouse for 2.940 palets.

UNO in Istanbul, Turkey. Definition of the contracts, negotiation with the suppliers and supervision of the erection.

MIZIARA in Vigo. Design of a new factory for smoked salmon, including the optimized process of machinery and employees. The design includes also the storing of the fresh salmon and the storing of the smoked salmon at -20ºC ready for shipping.

EUROPASTRY in Netherlands. Design of a manual warehouse -24ºC for 1.400 palets. Calculation of the throughput flow and the requested machinery as forklifts and others.

BETA IBERIA in San Fernando de Henares: Study of the existing installation to make betterments. Optimizing of the picking flow and ensure to have 20 % more capacity and organizing the consolidation of the orders to reduce errors >12.500 references.

OKEYSI in Pinto (Madrid): Study of the existing warehouse (palets and pick points) to study a new installation to assume the grow from 14 shops to 30, 50 and 70 during next 3, 5 and 8 years. Optimizing the pick ways to reduce walking time and reduce errors during picking.

BETA IBERIA in San Fernando de Henares: After the rent of a new factory, we designed and defined all necessary, racks, fork lifts and RF for >12.500 references.

EUROPASTRY in Vallmoll (Tarragona): Definition of 3 levels for picking and the conveyor system for new production lines the warehouse. Design for 7 other production lines to the warehouse, but those production lines are in other buildings and separated by roads. This eliminates the internal lorry transport within the factory. At the same time we included cross docking from the warehouse to the production lines and to an area of loading lories for distribution. The installation works at -24ºC.
